7 Facebook Ad Tips For Success

Here are a few tips to cut through the noise and focus on the value actions that matter for getting results with Facebook ads...

1. Setup Facebook Pixel.

Data is everything.

If you are not tracking your potential customers you'll never learn anything about your audience.

Setting up the Facebook pixel is the gateway into being able to create conversion campaigns, audiences, track users, improve conversions and retarget potential customers.

2. Audit your data weekly.

You need to know what is working and what is not working with your campaigns...

Are your costs too high?
Is your ROAS too low?
Are you converting users into customers?
What part of the funnel is holding up conversions?

These are the questions you need to ask on a weekly basis.

If you do this daily you'll over analyze and make poor decisions when they should have not been made.

You need at least one week to track data and get enough insights to know what works and what does not work.

3. Make your landing page and website mobile friendly.

Most traffic online is now through mobile devices...

If your website is not mobile friendly then you're missing out on huge opportunities...

You should start with a mobile first design that is simple and has call-to-actions clear as day so people can convert with ease...

4. Improve your site speed.

Facebook will lower your ranking and your ad ranking if your site does not load in under 3 seconds.

In fact, if you were to read deep into the archives of what affects you winning a bid vs not winning a bid you'll find it will have something to do with your site speed.

Facebook doesn't want users to have to wait 3 seconds to load your site...

If it takes longer than 3 seconds then Facebook will just give the ad bid to someone else and you will pay more just to reach that same person.

We tested this with a website that took 4.7 seconds to load on Shopify then ran an identical ad alongside it that sent them to their Amazon page that took 2.3 seconds to load.

The difference was astronomical 1,237 clicks for $1,000 to send them to the Shopify page...

And when we sent them to the Amazon page it only cost $250 and we got 5,488 clicks!..

That is a massive difference.

So make sure you improve your site speed...

5. Invest time and money into testing.

If you're not willing to invest time or money to find out what works versus what doesn't then don't run Facebook ads...

With Facebook ads you have to test...

You have to be willing to risk money and time...

If you can't afford to risk either of those then don't do it...

But if you can... Then you'll eventually see the true value you can get from Facebook ads once you find that #1 winning strategy.

6. Include a call to action on everything.
If you don't have call to actions how will anyone ever know what to do when they see your ad, landing page or sales page?

Call to actions are imperative...

You need a call to action on your ads...

You need a call action on your landing page...

You need a call to action on every page...

This is going to increase conversions if you implement more call to actions...

7. Be patient.

So many people lack this one and it destroys their business...

If you can just be patient and stick in there longer than anyone else you'll eventually succeed.

Overtime your results will start to compound and things will pick up...

Because with time comes data, knowledge, and ways to improve...

So stay patient and take massive action...

And if you implement just 5 of these 7 rules you'll see major growth in your Facebook ad success...
